Streaming audio and video technology is now widespread on the Internet. Most computers come pre-installed with the leading players, and broadband Internet access is more and more common. Our clients are starting to take advantage of these trends to give their web sites a personal and effective "voice" beyond just words and pictures. The web site we created for Westridge School in Pasadena, CA has all the traditional marks of an effective site: appealing visual design, easy-to-use navigation, extensive use of photographs, and a depth of text content, to name a few. What we're most proud of, however, is the site's use of streaming audio to give the visitor an unusually intimate sense of the Westridge community. Edited interviews with students, faculty, and parents are linked throughout the site. Check it out.
